What’s on the ballot?

On November 4, 2025, Taylor ISD voters will consider two ballot propositions:

Funds construction, renovations, and capital improvements across the District.

School Funding Election (VATRE)

Funds to maintain and support academic programs and classroom instruction.

DOES NOT REQUIRE A Tax rate INCREASE:

Thanks to the retirement of old debt, an increased homestead exemption under new legislation, and new commercial businesses in town, the district is able to propose both propositions and lower the tax rate by nearly 4 cents, saving the average homeowner approximately $500 per year.

Taylor ISD’s I&S tax rate will remain stable at $1.06, supporting both new and ongoing projects —

a drop of approximately four cents from last year’s rate.
